Tantalum Oxide is an inorganic compound with the formula Ta2O5. It is also known as Tantalum (V) Oxide. Ta2O5 has low absorption and high refractive index (i.e. colorless), which makes it useful for coating. It is commonly utilized in the production of capacitors, because of its high dielectric constant. We provide 99.9% pure tantalum sputtering targets with up to 12'' diameters. These targets are manufactured using a cold-pressed process and elastomer bonded to the backing plate. We take care of cleaning and final packaging and these targets are cleaned for use in vacuum.
