Tungsten disulfide is one of the most lubricious material in existence. The lubricity of tungsten disulfide is even superior to other substances like molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and Graphite. It can be used in high pressure and high-temperature applications. The compound formula of the Tungsten Disulfide sputtering target is S2W. The molecular weight of Tungsten Disulfide is 247.97 and it is a blue-gray target in appearance. With a melting point of 1250 °C (2282 °F), Tungsten Disulfide has a density of 7.5 g/cm3.
